How to make a waist
It is strange that the concepts of “oversize” and” fitted ” are often opposed to each other. To make a beautiful waist, we just need clothes that went a lot of fabric. And with a narrow dress and a belt, you can’t make any waist.
See. The average figure somehow resembles a rectangle (Yes, I know about simple and inverted triangles, about broad shoulders and hips, about an “hourglass” — but in order for a person to actually look exactly like a triangle or a clock, you need very pronounced disproportions or a very bright fantasy — the latter is most likely). Any body without clothing, or in clothing that fits, is still geometrically closer to the rectangle than to any other shape. And if you put a belt on this rectangle, then visually we will not get any such waist, but we will get two rectangles:
Here, look: there are belts, there is a waist line, there are different figures — and the result is the same. Nothing good.
All this is because if we want to emphasize the waist, then with the help of clothing, we must create triangles around our body (rectangle).
Previously, this was done with corsets and pillows on the hips. Now, thank God, you can do without it. The triangle can be set by the cut of the clothing itself (A-shaped skirt, trousers at the waist, expanding to the bottom), it can be made artificially when you tuck a spacious sweater or shirt into a skirt or jeans (at the waist line) or press a rather rigid clothing to the waist with a belt (jackets, raincoats, coats).
Much better than in the example above, when the skirt and t-shirt fit a full figure
Six hundred nineteen thousand three hundred forty
The triangle of the skirt can be hidden under the rectangle of a shirt or a cropped sweater, t-shirt — it is still guessed
Quite a lot of fabric was collected from both the top and bottom, and triangles turned out
It is much easier to build a triangle from wide trousers at the waist than from narrow ones (and even on the hips). Compare:
…and not nearly as good
Again, for clarity.
1) Waist using only a belt can be done on hard things with a lot of fabric:
2) the Waist can be made without any belt, only using the cut of clothing and the method of filling a wide into a narrow (wide blouse, t-shirt, sweater in a skirt or trousers at the waist)
3) things of a straight cut, in which there is little fabric or it is light, in combination with a belt look quite poor. From better leave direct:
Leaving out the fact that all things from the image should be thrown out: it would be much more decent If the sweater was tucked into the skirt and slightly released. And the waist would be thinner, and the image would be richer.
